Why was Christ's becoming flesh necessary?

The necessity of Christ becoming flesh is fundamentally tied to His role as our high priest. In the context of Christian theology, the high priest serves as a mediator between God and humanity, making atonement for sins and facilitating a connection with God. By taking on human nature—becoming flesh—Christ was able to fully empathize with human struggles and temptations, providing a perfect example of obedience to God’s will.
